Introduction

Our website uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience, all these technologies are referred to as "cookies"). Cookies are also placed by third parties we work with. Below we inform you about the use of cookies on our website, and we ask you to read all the information carefully so that you are transparently, accurately and specifically informed about what happens on the device you use to browse our website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that most websites store on the devices used to access the Internet (computer, tablet or mobile phone). Cookies save your settings for a particular website (for example, language choice, login details, etc.) and load them again when you revisit the site. In this way, the information on the website is adapted to your needs and usual ways of using it. Storing cookies is entirely under your control, as you can limit or disable cookie storage in your browser settings. If you decide to disable cookies, please note that some parts of the website may not work as expected.

Instructions for managing cookies in the most commonly used web browsers can be found on the following pages:

What are scripts?

A script is a piece of program code used to make our website work properly and interactively. This code runs on our server or on your device.

What is a web beacon?

A web beacon (or pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website used to monitor website traffic. To do this, various data about your activity is stored using web beacons.

Types of cookies

Technical or functional cookies

Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website work properly and that your user preferences are remembered. By placing functional cookies, we make your visit to our website easier. This way you do not have to enter the same information repeatedly when visiting our website. These cookies may be placed on your computer without your consent.

Analytics cookies

We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the website and to improve it. These cookies are placed only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner on your first visit. Until you give consent, Google Analytics does not store cookies on your device (Google Consent Mode v2).

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Advertising cookies

We use advertising cookies on our website, which allow us to personalise ads for you, and we (and third parties) gain insight into campaign results. This is based on a profile we create from your clicks and browsing on and off our website. With these cookies, you as a website visitor are linked to a unique ID, so that, for example, you do not see the same ad several times.

Because these cookies are marked as tracking cookies, we ask for your permission to place them.

Social media buttons

We have included a Facebook button on our website to promote the website (e.g. "Like", "pin") or to share it on social networks such as Facebook. These buttons work using pieces of code that come from Facebook and other social networks. This code places cookies. Social media buttons can also store and process certain data, so that you may be shown a personalised ad.

Please read the privacy statements of these social networks (which change relatively often) to find out what they do with your (personal) data that they process using these cookies. The data collected is as anonymous as possible. It is important to bear in mind that Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are based in the United States, although they also have servers in the EU.
